Aureomycin®

Aureomycin® contains chlortetracycline which is an antibiotic. Aureomycin® is ideal for the treatment of conjunctivitis in the cat as conjunctivitis in the cat may be caused by: a primary Herpes infection, Chlamydia, or a bacterial infection. Aureomycin® is effective in conjunctivitis caused by chlamydia and also kills most bacteria involved in bacterial conjunctivitis in the cat. I only recommend the use of Aureomycin® for conjunctivitis in the cat. Some cats may develop an allergy towards Aureomycin®.
